Dixey CB Gallery
The Dixey gallery is situated in the heart of Horsham on a main shopping street the gallery has become very popular with the public for hosting high quality contemporary art.
The gallery is located in a separate room on the first floor approximate size is 15 x 8, it has a sash window on the 8’ wall covered with a white blind. The walls are white and the floor is wooden boards. The artificial light is provided by directional recessed spot lights. The gallery is not invidulated however, you are welcome to man the space if you require.
The gallery and optical boutique is owned by Dirk and Irene they are both very helpful and will assist you with a convenient delivery time for your work or help finding the galley. There is no parking at the gallery but there is a drop of point at the rear the access is narrow so please check in advance for any large work. They can be contacted on 01403 265369.
The gallery will organise any sale of work and pass on your money less the 25% commission.
It is your responsibility as the exhibitor to arrange the following:
- Arrange in advance with Dirk or Irene a convenient delivery and set up time.
- Send out press releases to local newspapers in good time.
- Produce and send out posters and invites.
- Hang paintings and sculpture (walls can be drilled and screwed they are solid brick)
- Supply your own tools and equipment
- Make good walls of any marks or holes after your exhibition.
- Provide any display plinths
- Supply an artist statement to be left in the gallery
- Supply any labels or price lists for the public
- Organise and provide preview drinks on the first Saturday of your exhibition.
- Supply any public liability insurance (if required)
- Leave the space clean and empty on the date agreed as there is no storage facility at the gallery.
The Dixey gallery accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any art work.
