Commissions
Fee structure for commissions and consultancyCommissions can be of any size. Commissions consist of a combination of fees and costs:Fees consist of: Consultation, Slide and / or Design Presentations, Site Visits, Design Drawings, Sculpting/LabourCost consist of: Materials; Specialised Equipment and Services; Haulage / Transport / Travel; Administration and Materials handling fee; packaging.
- Consultation, design, drawings, preperationand presentation fees £50.00 per hour or part thereof.
- Sculpting varies for each task and is quoted based on an estimate of the overall concept.
- Assistance fees vary for each task.
- If specialised services are required for installation , delivery or consultation of engineers, hired equipment such as scaffolding or cranes; subcontractors and photograhy - these will be charged seperatly. Extra storage is charged seperatley.
- Transport / travel for site visits or delivery is charged per mile and driving fees per hour. Haulage andinsurance is job specific and charged accordingly.
- All fees quoted are exclusive of VAT.
General Commissions
- Quotations and schedules for commissioned work are given prior to proceeding with any proposal
- Depending on the scale of the project an agreement is reached in writing by both parties with a contract. Depending on the project, a negotiable ammount of the total budget is payable as confirmation of the proposal for commission. remaining costs and fees are paidat suitable stages during the work. all costing fees are clearly indicated for all projects.
- For smaler commissions a quotation is agreed by by way of placing an order and agreement of delivery date. a 30%-50% deposit of the overall price is payable and outstanding fees payed on delivery of the work.
- The larger the project, the greater the haulage, cranage and handling fees. These will be quoted for in each project.
- A design fee based on consutation, expences, drawings, photograhy or marquettes is payable whether the commission is realised or not. In all cases the proposed design by the artist remains the property of the artist.
